A new limited-edition apparel collection, GIGANTE, has been released by artists Isaac Pelayo and Shepard Fairey, bringing their artistic collaboration into the realm of streetwear. The collection, featuring T-shirts, hoodies, and skate decks, draws inspiration from their joint artwork, which blends Pelayo's distinctive "Street Baroque" style with Fairey's renowned visual language.
The initial release occurred on Friday, October 9, 2026, with exclusive red T-shirts and hoodies available at ComplexCon Los Angeles 2026. Additional colorways are now accessible to fans via Pelayo's official website for those who missed the event.
Pelayo, a Los Angeles-based artist, merges classical painting techniques with contemporary street culture. His "Street Baroque" style is influenced by Old Masters and elements of graffiti, skateboarding, and hip-hop. Fairey, a long-time mentor and supporter of Pelayo, expressed admiration for Pelayo's respect for craft and willingness to innovate within artistic traditions. The GIGANTE artwork originally debuted earlier this year during Pelayo's Gemini exhibition in Los Angeles.
