Food artist Sarah Hardy recently contributed to the making of a new adaptation of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights, with her unique creations making a notable appearance.
Described by BBC Culture as 'sexy, dramatic and swoonily romantic,' the film required a surreal aesthetic, according to director Emerald Fennell. Hardy, a "horror chocolatier" from Sible Hedingham, Essex, was enlisted for an "emergency job" to craft six-inch-tall, biteable strawberries.
Hardy, 55, expressed her excitement at seeing her distinctive chocolate strawberries held by lead actress Margot Robbie on the film set. The request for the oversized, edible fruit came at the last minute, highlighting the creative problem-solving involved in the production.
