Ghost is set to release their new concert film, "2 Big to Rig," documenting their 2025 performances in Mexico City. The film utilizes 16mm footage from two September 2025 shows at the Palacio de los Deportes. It also delves behind the scenes, offering the crew's perspective on the band's impressive stage production and spectacular live setup. The intention behind the film is to share the Skeletour World Tour experience with fans in regions where the elaborate stage design was not feasible to implement. As one crew member notes in the trailer, the stage is literally "too big to rig," yet they manage to pull it off daily.
Directed by Amir Chamdin, "2 Big to Rig" is Ghost's second feature film, following up on 2024's "Rite Here Rite Now." The earlier film achieved significant success, becoming the highest-grossing hard rock cinema event in North American history. The band released their sixth studio album, "Skeleta," in 2025, which was their first with the newly introduced "Papa V Perpetua" leading the band. "2 Big to Rig" is scheduled for release in cinemas and IMAX globally starting August 26. Information on participating theaters and tickets can be found on the official website.
