Dipanwita Chakraborty, who comes from a West Bengal family steeped in musical traditions, received her initial training from Shri Tridib Sanyal. She will share the stage with Sreeja Rajendran, a pioneering professional woman sitar player from Kerala. Rajendran, trained by her father and later by Guru Krishnakumar Master, also studied under Ustad Hamid Khan of the Indore Beenkar Gharana.
The concert will feature a lineup of talented musicians providing accompaniment, including Ratnasree Iyer and Debajyoti Roy on tabla. The event is free to attend, encouraging classical music aficionados from across the capital city to gather for this enriching cultural experience.
