Summary
- Estate suing former best friend over 90 minutes of rare studio footage.
- Website charged fans £4.99 for access to unreleased George Michael album film.
- Legal case lodged at London's Intellectual Property and Enterprise Court.

George Michael's estate is embroiled in a legal dispute with his former best friend, Andros Georgiou, over exclusive footage from a lost album. The estate's lawyers have initiated legal proceedings at London's Intellectual Property and Enterprise Court against Georgiou.
Georgiou recently launched a website, "Trojan Souls - The Greatest Album That Was Never Made," where fans could pay to view 90 minutes of studio footage. This material was filmed between 1992 and 1993 during the creation of an album that was never completed.
The unreleased album was intended to feature collaborations with notable artists like Sir Elton John and Janet Jackson. Georgiou claims he shot the video with Michael's full approval, stating he decided to release it himself as others were already profiting from it.
Michael, who died on Christmas Day 2016, had reportedly reconciled with Georgiou before his death. The estate, represented by holding companies Robobuild Limited and Big Geoff Overseas Limited, is pursuing the claim against Georgiou and his production company.
