24 Oct
Summary
- Ticket sales for Garth Brooks' Kansas City show were halted due to bots.
- The 'Blame It All on My Roots Arena Tour' is a revival of his 1996 tour.
- Brooks is recording the current tour for a live album titled 'Killer Live'.
Ticket sales for Garth Brooks' Kansas City performances were suspended on Friday, October 23, 2026, after bots rapidly acquired a large volume of tickets. Brooks' team stated they needed to reevaluate the sales process. Brooks himself issued an apology to fans who were unable to secure legitimate tickets.
These concerts are part of the ongoing 2026 Blame It All on My Roots Arena Tour. This tour mirrors Brooks' iconic 1996 World Tour, which was one of the highest-grossing tours of the '90s. The tour features the return of the notable Drum Pod, a structure that enclosed his drummer.
Brooks is also leveraging this tour to record material for a new live album, tentatively titled Killer Live. This initiative continues his tradition of capturing live performances, similar to how his 1996 tour led to the acclaimed Double Live album.
