"She's a symbol of courage and grace who refused to bow to social stigma. Bringing her story to life is my tribute to her indomitable spirit," said Gargee.
The actress revealed that the stage demands a different rhythm and energy than the camera, and she had to fully immerse herself in Tara Sundari's world to do justice to the character. "On stage, you live the character in real time, and that honesty connects instantly with the audience," Gargee explained.
