Gareth Gates, known for his breakthrough on Pop Idol in 2002, is set to co-produce and star in a production of Beauty and the Beast at the Britannia Theatre in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The show is scheduled for December, with Gates taking on the role of the Beast. He is actively seeking his co-star for the part of Belle through "Finding Belle" auditions planned for April.
