Beauvais Home Targeted Again by Swatting Hoax
27 Jan
Summary
- Garcelle Beauvais' home was stormed by police due to a false emergency call.
- The caller falsely reported a man with a shotgun at her residence.
- This is the second swatting incident targeting Beauvais' properties.

Garcelle Beauvais' residence in Porter Ranch was the target of a swatting incident on Sunday, January 25th, 2026. The Los Angeles Police Department responded after a 911 caller falsely claimed to be her ex and present at the home with a shotgun. Officers found no such threat upon searching the property. Authorities suspect this was a deliberate act of swatting, which involves making fake emergency calls to elicit a significant law enforcement response.
This is not the first time Beauvais has been targeted. She previously recounted a similar swatting incident at her beach house in the summer of 2025. During that event, while teenagers were visiting, her home was surrounded by FBI vehicles. Beauvais learned that swatting is a malicious prank intended to cause chaos and potentially violence. She is set to reprise her role in Lifetime's "Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted 2 Love" on January 31st, 2026.
