Gambit Joins Marvel Rivals, Bringing Explosive Abilities to the Battlefield

As of November 14, 2025, Marvel Rivals has welcomed a new addition to its roster: Gambit. The character, introduced in the "Love is a Battlefield" update, brings a unique mix of healing tools, crowd control, and kinetic burst damage to the game.

Gambit's kit heavily emphasizes card-switch mechanics, requiring players to constantly rotate between Hearts and Spades to access his diverse abilities. His movement tool, Cajun Charge, shifts him forward, followed by a strike called Big Easy Impact that adds three kinetic bursts along his path. The larger support ability, Ragin' Royal Flush, locks onto a friendly hero, firing aces that heal and purify both Gambit and the ally, while also providing mobility boosts and charged attacks.

Gambit's staff strike, Bayou Bash, sends out a shockwave that hits enemies and restores health to nearby teammates. His other abilities, such as Bridge Boost, Purifying Pick-Up, and Explosive Trick, further enhance his support and crowd control capabilities. The character's four-charge system forces players to use these abilities selectively, making timing more important than rotation speed.

Gambit's team-up skill, Ace of Aces, powers Magneto's blade with kinetic energy, creating a delayed second explosion. His ultimate, Ace of Aces, sends kinetic aces to allies, giving them jump boosts, regeneration, and explosive attacks, while also clearing destructible objects around him.

With Gambit's arrival, Marvel Rivals has expanded its roster with a versatile and dynamic character who can significantly impact the battlefield through his unique blend of healing, purifying, knockback, and explosive abilities.
