On November 3, 2025, the Women's Guild Cedars-Sinai announced that acclaimed actress Gal Gadot has been selected to receive the prestigious Hollywood Icon award at their upcoming Snow Ball gala on November 20th. The event, to be hosted by Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner, will also honor Dr. Shlee Song, director of Cedars-Sinai's Comprehensive Stroke Center, as a medical visionary, and philanthropists Cathy and Mark Louchheim, who will receive a humanitarian award.
Gadot, who recently wrapped production on the Amazon MGM Studios film The Runner, expressed her gratitude for the recognition, stating, "I'm truly honored to receive the Hollywood Icon Award from the Women's Guild Cedars-Sinai, a place that means so much to me. Having been a patient there, I've experienced their extraordinary care and compassion."
The actress's patient status at Cedars-Sinai refers to a medical emergency she faced during her eighth month of pregnancy last year, when she was diagnosed with a "massive blood clot in [her] brain." Gadot endured "excruciating headaches" until an MRI revealed the "terrifying truth," leading her family to confront the fragility of life.
Funds raised at the Snow Ball gala will support the Women's Guild's neurology project and the distinguished chair in pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai's newest expansion, Guerin Children's. The guild has raised over $70 million for the hospital to date.
