A new trailer has been released for the upcoming comedy "Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass," directed by David Wain. The film centers on Gail Daughtry, a small-town hairdresser whose life takes an unexpected turn when her fiancé, Tom, cheats on her with his celebrity pass.
Reeling from the betrayal, Gail impulsively travels to Los Angeles with her friend Otto. A psychic suggests that Gail must find her own celebrity pass, Jon Hamm, to even the score. This kicks off an epic search through Hollywood.
Their quest involves a talent agency assistant and a paparazzo, leading to bizarre encounters with celebrities and a chase by Italian assassins. Actor John Slattery also makes an appearance, famously having starred with Hamm in Mad Men.
"Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass" is co-written by Wain and Ken Marino and is scheduled for release in United States theaters on July 10, 2026.
