Gabrielle Union Celebrates 53rd Birthday in Romantic Italy with Husband

As of October 19, 2025, 52-year-old actress Gabrielle Union is eagerly anticipating her 53rd birthday on October 29th. Instead of keeping her plans a secret, Union has revealed that she will be in Italy filming a project on her special day. She hopes her husband, retired NBA star Dwyane Wade, 43, will take her "out on the town" to celebrate with "a couple of cocktails" in the "romantic, beautiful and fun city."

Union has reflected on her personal growth, saying she is "proud" of herself and is "finally giving [her] younger self grace for not being perfect and still being open to learning." The actress also shared that her grandmother lived to be 110 years old, which means she has over 60 more years to continue making herself proud.
