The Telugu action comedy-drama 'GaayaPadda Simham', released theatrically on May 1, 2026, is now available for streaming on Prime Video. Director Kasyap Sreenivas announced the digital premiere, with the makers sharing, "The wounded lion has entered your homes."
The story centers on Darahas, who agrees to an arranged marriage with vlogger Shalini, provided he settles in the United States. However, upon reaching Dallas, Darahas faces immigration rule changes and deportation, forcing his return to India and shattering his aspirations.
Convinced the US President ruined his future, Darahas devises a wild revenge plan, even consulting a black magic practitioner. This personal quest spirals into unexpected events, involving a local gangster and police, amidst numerous comedic situations and chaotic attempts to achieve his goal.
The film stars Tharun Bhascker, Sree Vishnu, Faria Abdullah, and JD Chakravarthy, among others. Sweekar Agasthi composed the music, with cinematography by Vidya Sagar Chinta and editing by Viplav Nyshadam.
