Future's Paternity Battle: Child Support Showdown!

Rapper Future is currently facing legal action from his ex-girlfriend, Layla Sanad, who has initiated a paternity suit. Sanad is seeking child support for their son, identified by the initials K.W., who was born in 2017. She alleges that Future admitted to being the father during their past romantic relationship and is requesting both current and two years of retroactive child support.

In response to the Florida lawsuit, Future has filed court documents seeking to have the case dismissed. He argues that a more convenient forum would be Arizona, where both Sanad and the child reside. Notably, Future had already initiated his own legal proceedings in Arizona. In that Arizona case, he acknowledged paternity of a son named Kash Wilburn and stated he had been voluntarily providing $3,500 monthly in child support payments to Sanad. The court has yet to rule on Future's request to dismiss the Florida proceedings as of April 16, 2026.
