- Freya Allan and María Pedraza star in 'Europa,' a road trip film.
- The movie is described as a contemporary 'Thelma & Louise' set in Europe.

The upcoming film 'Europa' is set to star Freya Allan, known for 'The Witcher,' and María Pedraza from 'Money Heist.' They join William Abadie and Toby Kebbell in the project directed by Bjorn Franklin and Johnny Marchetta.
Billed as a modern take on 'Thelma & Louise,' 'Europa' centers on a young British woman named Arielle who embarks on an impulsive road trip from London across France and Spain. The journey triggers an intense relationship that forces her to confront deep personal themes.
The film aims to blend emotional depth with the thrill of a road movie, offering a cinematic odyssey through a fractured Europe. This collaboration marks the second for Franklin, Marchetta, and producer Featuristic Films, following their previous work on 'Salvable.'
Filming is anticipated to take place across Europe, with a primary focus on France and Spain. The production team is currently finalizing distribution and financing agreements ahead of the scheduled commencement later this year.
