Ahead of the Unifrance Rendez-Vous, APC Studios' distributor, About Premium Content (APC), has finalized significant international broadcast agreements for three French-language series. These include the crime drama and family saga "Blue Gold," the four-part drama "Seasons," and the three-part art investigation documentary "An Artful Imbroglio."
"Blue Gold" has been licensed to Walter Presents for the U.K. and Ireland, RTP in Portugal, and Blue Play in Switzerland, adding to its U.S. distribution with MHz Choice. The series is set in the 1980s Provence and explores a decades-old family secret.
The drama "Seasons," produced for Arte, was picked up by RTP in Portugal and RTBF Auvio for French-speaking Belgium, following a prior sale to Radio Canada. It follows a complex love story spanning over 30 years.
APC Stories' documentary "An Artful Imbroglio," produced for Arte, has been acquired by Filmin in Spain and RTP in Portugal. This unscripted series investigates a major art world scandal involving alleged trafficking of fake paintings.
