Fox has officially renewed its breakout medical drama "Doc" for a third season, granting it another full 22-episode order. This marks the second consecutive season the series has received such a substantial pickup, a rarity in today's television landscape.
The series, starring Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, has become a cornerstone for Fox, delivering the network's largest multi-platform audience for any scripted series in the 2025-26 season. Its viewership has nearly tripled since its initial live broadcast delivery.
Co-showrunners Barbie Kligman and Hank Steinberg will continue to lead the production. "Doc" was developed for the U.S. based on an Italian series and has achieved a broad international reach, being sold in over 200 countries.
Fox Television Network President Michael Thorn praised the show's success, highlighting its momentum across platforms like Fox, Hulu, and Netflix. The series also recently achieved a series high in total viewers for its regular time slot.
