10 Mar
Summary
- V-Bucks packs will offer fewer virtual currency units for the same real money price.
- Fortnite's Battle Pass and Crew subscription V-Bucks rewards are being reduced.
- Players express significant dissatisfaction with the decreased value of V-Bucks.

Epic Games has announced a significant change to Fortnite's virtual currency, V-Bucks, effective March 19. Players will now receive fewer V-Bucks per pack for the same real-world price. For instance, a standard $8.99 V-Bucks pack will be reduced from 1000 to 800 V-Bucks.
This adjustment impacts several in-game purchases. The Battle Pass, previously costing 1000 V-Bucks, will now cost 800 V-Bucks and offer 800 V-Bucks upon completion, with Bonus Rewards being removed. The Battle Bundle will decrease from 2,800 to 2,600 V-Bucks. Fortnite Crew subscribers will also see their monthly V-Bucks reward drop from 1000 to 800.
Additional passes are also affected. The OG Pass will cost 800 V-Bucks (down from 1000), the Music Pass will be 1200 V-Bucks (down from 1400), and the LEGO Pass will also cost 1200 V-Bucks (down from 1400). This change has led to player frustration, with many expressing disappointment and considering canceling subscriptions due to the reduced value.
