Epic Games has officially announced the Chapter 7 Season 2 finale event, named 'Shattered.' This highly anticipated live event is scheduled for June 5, 2026, with gameplay starting at 7:00 PM ET. Players are advised to join the servers by 6:20 PM ET when the doors open.
The 'Shattered' event introduces a novel mechanic to Fortnite's live finales: player choice. For the first time in the game's history, the decision to align with either the Ice King or the Foundation will influence how participants experience the event. This marks a significant departure from previous, fully scripted season-ending events.
This innovative approach is expected to provide a unique and engaging conclusion to the lore involving the Ice King and the Foundation, which has been central to Chapter 7 Season 2. The unfolding narrative in 'Shattered' could also heavily influence the direction and theme of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.
