She also had the option to purchase snacks from the facility's commissary, such as hot summer sausage, Takis, and Cheez-Its. For her sweet tooth, Dennis could indulge in treats like chocolate cupcakes and Jolly Ranchers.
Despite her 30-day sentence, Dennis tried to get her jail time reduced. Court documents revealed that she argued for reconsideration, citing a number of reasons. However, she was ultimately released on October 14, just 11 days into her sentence.
The DUI conviction stemmed from a May 2024 car crash that involved three vehicles. Responding officers noted that Dennis had "glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol" and found several miniature Fireball bottles in her vehicle. She was sued by one of the alleged crash victims, who claimed to have suffered "serious" injuries due to her alleged negligence.
