Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters are set to headline a special benefit concert on January 14, which marks Grohl's 57th birthday. The event will take place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and is dedicated to supporting unhoused and food-insecure populations within the city. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to two key charitable organizations: Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission.
Leading up to the main event, a crucial donation drive is scheduled for January 7 at the Forum. This drive will collect essential items sought by the partner charities to assist those in need. Attendees who contribute items at the drive will have the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for the concert.
Grohl expressed his enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing its dual nature as a rock show and a charitable endeavor. He highlighted the importance of giving back, particularly on his birthday, framing the concert as a "big ass party with a heart" aimed at raising both funds and spirits for a vital cause.
