2 Dec, 2025
Summary
- Foo Fighters are teasing a 2026 Australian tour with a billboard in Hobart.
- A countdown clock on Frontier Touring's website indicates big news is coming Wednesday.
- Fan-shared artwork suggests a January 2026 show in Tasmania with supporting acts.
The legendary American rock band Foo Fighters may be heading Down Under in 2026, much to the delight of their Australian fanbase. Teaser posts from touring company Frontier suggest an announcement is on the horizon. A prominent billboard featuring the band's logo has appeared in Hobart, Tasmania, accompanied by lyrics from their latest single.
This cryptic message is amplified by a countdown clock on Frontier Touring's dedicated Foo Fighters page, which is set to reveal 'big news' soon. The appearance of the billboard in Tasmania has particular significance, as the band missed the island state on their previous Australian visit.
Further fueling speculation, fan accounts have shared what appears to be promotional artwork for a potential 'one night only' event at UTAS Stadium in Tasmania on January 24, 2026. This purported show also indicates the inclusion of Brisbane's The Full Flower Moon Band and Tasmania's Spooky Eyes as supporting acts.
