6 Nov
Summary
- Flyysoulja experienced drug-induced psychosis, not a drug overdose.
- He is now taking psychiatric medication and attending therapy.
- He is back to working on music despite the recent health scare.

Alex Venegas, known as Flyysoulja from the Island Boys, has revealed the true cause of his recent hospitalization. Doctors clarified his condition as drug-induced psychosis brought on by substance use and sleep deprivation, refuting earlier reports of a drug overdose. No Narcan was administered, as medical professionals intervened quickly when the psychosis began.
Flyysoulja is now reportedly taking psychiatric medication and attending therapy to maintain sobriety. While he has no plans to enter a rehabilitation facility, he states he is feeling good and focusing on his recovery. This incident follows a previous drug-induced psychotic episode for which he was placed under Florida's Baker Act in November 2025.
Undeterred by his health scare, Flyysoulja has returned to his music career. He is actively working on new music and a music video, signaling an upcoming major project. This marks a return to creative endeavors following his release from a Miami trauma unit on October 29, where he was initially admitted after using cocaine, benzodiazepines, and Percocet.
