Flavor Flav Honors Women Olympians with Vegas SHE Weekend

Flavor Flav is spearheading a significant celebration for the U.S. Women's Olympic athletes in Las Vegas. This "SHE Weekend" event, which began as a social media gesture, now encompasses a public parade, a concert by Public Enemy, and other festivities designed to honor the athletes. The initiative aims to recognize the considerable achievements of women in sports, with notable figures like hockey captain Hilary Knight and figure skaters Alyssa Liu and Amber Glenn anticipated to be in attendance.

The rapper's commitment to women's sports extends beyond this event; he previously became a sponsor for the U.S. Women's Water Polo team in 2024. The "SHE Weekend" will also include athletes from the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces. The public is invited to attend the free festivities, encouraged to show their support by cheering loudly and wearing their favorite athlete's jerseys. Following the parade, honorees are slated to receive the keys to the Las Vegas Strip.
