FKA Twigs Transforms Pain into Euphoric Dance Anthems

FKA Twigs' latest single, "On Your Mind," featuring Lil Yachty, arose from the challenges of postponed tour dates and a significant performance. Initially intended for the U.S. leg of her Eusexua tour and a highly anticipated Coachella appearance in 2025, both were delayed due to visa issues. The resulting song, accompanied by a Jordan Hemingway-directed video, captures the spirit of perseverance, depicting a rooftop dance battle that extends into a city-wide expression of movement.

Twigs expressed that "pain can manifest into the hardest and most euphoric sonics," finding that creating such music keeps her adaptable and aware of her lack of absolute control. This release marks her first since last year's "Eusexua Afterglow." She has since successfully completed both the Eusexua and Body High Tours, and performed at Coachella.

Her performance at Coachella was described as intense, with FKA Twigs showcasing signature pole dances and energetic stage presence. The mission behind her performance and the creation of "On Your Mind" is rooted in seeing her audience as a "community" rather than just fans. She noted that attendees are united by a shared desire for growth, self-belief, artistic expression, and a spirit of overcoming obstacles.
