FKA twigs has released a new single, "On Your Mind," featuring Lil Yachty. This thumping electro track arrives as she celebrates the conclusion of her Body High Tour.
The inspiration for "On Your Mind" stemmed from the artist's personal experience of a canceled Coachella performance last year. Twigs revealed that upon learning her team could not join her, she manically practiced, hoping the news was untrue.
She expressed how pain can manifest into intense and euphoric sounds, noting that creating such music keeps her grounded. This release follows her busy 2026, which also included composing for "Mother Mary," a Josephine Baker biopic role, and a trademark lawsuit.
The single is presented as a celebration of artistic resilience and overcoming obstacles, made possible by self-belief and mutual support. Twigs thanked her fans for their continued growth and presence.
