Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is reportedly set to feature its first-ever transgender contestant, Ella Morgan, for its upcoming series. Morgan, who initially rose to prominence on Married At First Sight UK in 2023, is recognized by show executives as a resilient individual ready to tackle the rigorous demands of the competition. This casting choice by Channel 4 underscores the program's commitment to progressive and inclusive selection processes.
Fans will witness a new facet of Morgan's personality as she navigates the intense environment of the show. The series aims to challenge contestants, often leading to transformative experiences as their public personas are tested. Morgan's appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins follows her historic participation as the first transgender bride on Married At First Sight UK, where she initially married Nathanial Valentino before forming a relationship with co-star JJ Slater.
The future of the celebrity version of SAS: Who Dares Wins has been confirmed, with a ninth series slated to air after the successful conclusion of its eighth season earlier this year. The previous celebrity series concluded on January 26, following an eight-episode run that saw international contestants compete. Despite initial reports of the regular series being axed in 2023, the celebrity edition will continue.
