Summary
- Athena and Hen face a crisis in zero gravity after a geomagnetic storm
- Businessman Trip Houser knowingly sent civilians on a dangerous maiden voyage
- Hen's past rescue of Trip leads him to invite her on the ill-fated space mission

On October 2nd, 2025, a new crisis is unfolding in the world of 9-1-1. Firefighters Athena and Hen have found themselves in a perilous situation, stranded in space after a sudden geomagnetic storm caused a civilian spacecraft to lose contact.
The spacecraft, owned by an Elon Musk-esque businessman named Trip Houser, was on its maiden voyage, carrying a crew of "five everyday heroes" that included Hen. Houser had invited Hen on the mission after she had previously saved his life when he was swallowed by a whale while kayaking. However, despite warnings from a colleague about the impending storm, Houser refused to cancel the launch, knowingly sending the civilians into danger.
Now, as the situation unfolds, the 118 team back on Earth must deal with the fallout, as meteoroids or debris rain down all over Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Athena and Hen fight for their lives in zero gravity, with no way to call for help. The stakes have never been higher for the first responders of 9-1-1.
