Finnish Production House Unveils Thrilling Slate of New Series

In the past two weeks, a newly-formed Finnish production house called Whatever has announced an impressive slate of new series set to debut in the coming months. The company, created through the merger of Whatevergroup and Mutant Koala Pictures, is showcasing a diverse lineup of dramas, comedies, and political thrillers.

The centerpiece of Whatever's debut slate is "Transporter," a six-part high-stakes thriller that follows transplant coordinator Niina on a race against time to recover an organ that was hijacked mid-transport, with only four hours before it expires. As she navigates a treacherous winter landscape, Niina must confront criminals and her own personal reckoning to track down the thieves and uncover the motive behind the theft before her sister's life is lost.

Alongside "Transporter," Whatever's new offerings include the UK-Nordic co-production "Ice House," the feel-good comedy "Crème de la Crème," the alternate history political series "Finnkampen," and the tense geopolitical drama "Between Three Fires." The company's CEO, Antti Kaarlela, has expressed pride in presenting this varied slate of scripted content positioned to captivate audiences around the world.
