Filmmaker Trims Controversial Ending of Thriller 'Aaryan'

As of November 3rd, 2025, the film 'Aaryan' has undergone significant changes to its ending following audience reactions to the original climax. The film's creators have responded to viewer input by reducing the length of the final segment by 10 minutes and removing actor Selvaraghavan's monologue at the end.

Selvaraghavan, who played the antagonist Azhagar in the film, previously had a lengthy speech in the climax explaining the reason behind the killings. However, this messy messaging did not sit well with the audience. The makers have now edited out this controversial portion, aiming to address concerns regarding the sequence justifying the motives of the killer and the overall impact of the film's climax.

The revised version of the climax has been screening in theaters since this past Monday. This re-edited ending will also be implemented in the Telugu release of the film, ensuring consistency across both language versions for theatregoers. The Telugu version, which was initially slated to release on October 31st, was postponed to avoid clashing with other major releases.
