Strangers on a Highway: Europe's Hidden Stories Unfold

Shot in a studio, the film uses a minimalist approach to stage these meetings. The unscripted conversations between Bobby and his passengers, who hail from different backgrounds and share varied life stories, aim to capture a raw, authentic presence.

The highway itself, established nearly 90 years ago, serves as a historical undercurrent. Brameshuber describes the A1 as a winding path accumulating diverse stories, both private and political, trivial and profound.
