A new documentary feature, 'The Fight to Fight,' is set to highlight the experiences and challenges of women serving in combat roles within the U.S. military. Directed by former U.S. Navy pilot Joy Bronson, the film aims to capture the ongoing dialogue surrounding women's service in ground combat. It will feature the perspectives of numerous celebrated female veterans.
Abramorama has acquired North American distribution rights, with a nationwide theatrical release planned for March 2027. In anticipation of the release, sneak preview screenings are scheduled for Veterans Day, November 11, 2026. These early screenings will take place at Regal Union Square in New York City and Regal Gallery Place in Washington, D.C., followed by onstage discussions with the film's team.
The film arrives at a time of significant discussion regarding women's roles in ground combat, including a Pentagon review ordered earlier this year. It also follows a history-making midterm election cycle for women veterans, with a record number running for and winning congressional seats, such as former Air Force captain Chrissy Houlahan.
