Fight Club Returns to Theaters This April!

David Fincher's celebrated film "Fight Club," starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, is set for a theatrical re-release on April 22. This event precedes its upcoming debut on 4K Ultra HD and 4K digital platforms on May 12, distributed by New Regency and 20th Century.

The film, adapted from Chuck Palahniuk's novel, originally premiered on October 15, 1999. Despite initial critical perplexity and a modest box office performance, "Fight Club" gained significant cultural traction, particularly through its special edition DVD release in 2000. This release, personally overseen by Fincher and producer David Prior, helped establish the film's reputation as a profound social satire.

"Fight Club" has been meticulously restored in 4K Ultra HD, promising enhanced clarity and intensity for viewers. This restoration aims to elevate Fincher's distinct cinematography and the film's immersive sound design. Additionally, Insight Editions and New Regency are collaborating on a companion "Fight Club" anniversary art book, which will feature exclusive visuals and interviews, though its release date is yet to be announced.
