Fetty Wap Returns With New Album After Prison Release

Fetty Wap, born Willie Maxwell II, is reintroducing himself with his new album, "Zavier," set for release on Friday, March 14, 2026. He was released to home confinement on January 7, 2026, after serving part of a six-year sentence for a drug trafficking scheme.

During his incarceration, Fetty Wap missed crucial aspects of life, including his family and music creation. He collaborated with others to produce approximately 123 songs, with 17 making the final cut for "Zavier." This album feels like a fresh start, allowing him hands-on studio involvement, unlike his previous album "King Zoo," which was released in 2023 while he was still incarcerated.

"Zavier" is not conceptualized around his prison experience but rather aims to capture his signature "fun Fetty" persona with a more matured and upgraded sound, reminiscent of his 2015 breakthrough album. The album features diverse styles and emotions, including collaborations with G Herbo on "I Remember," Tink on "Nasty," and contributions from Wiz Khalifa, Honey Bxby, Doe Boy, and Max B. His sisters are also featured on his favorite track, "White Roses," adding doo-wop harmonies.

Fetty Wap hopes "Zavier" brings good energy and positivity to his listeners, emphasizing his desire for them to love the music and provide feedback for future creations.
