Fetty Wap's New Chapter: Music After Prison

Fetty Wap, born Willie Junior Maxwell II, has announced a new music project marking a fresh start following his release from prison in January. He served over three years on federal drug charges, concluding his sentence 11 months earlier than anticipated.

In a recent cinematic trailer, Fetty shared his reflections on life after incarceration, highlighting the disconnect between his public persona and his true self. He spoke candidly about the isolating experience of fame and the realization that his persona had overshadowed his identity.

The artist expressed gratitude for his fans and family, stating his new music is a testament to a new phase in his life, aiming to infuse it with positivity. Following the project's release, Fetty Wap is scheduled for a series of northeast shows in April.

The tour includes a homecoming concert in Montclair, New Jersey, on April 4, with subsequent performances planned in Hartford, Connecticut; Albany, New York; and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
