Vin Diesel Hints at 'Fast & Furious' Finale Filming

Filming has commenced for "Fast Forever," the eleventh and final installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise, as confirmed by Vin Diesel via an Instagram post. This concluding chapter is slated to premiere in theaters on March 17, 2028. Diesel shared his excitement from the set, acknowledging the hard work of the crews and expressing deep appreciation for the global fanbase's unwavering support and patience over the past three and a half years.

Diesel also mentioned his involvement in other projects, including the upcoming "Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots" movie, during the extended development period for the finale. He emphasized that the fans' support means the world to him and hopes to make them proud with the film. The "Fast & Furious" series, launched in 2001, has achieved significant box office success, grossing over $7 billion worldwide and remains Universal's most profitable franchise.

Further expanding the universe, Universal announced in May that a "Fast & Furious" television series is in development for Peacock. This move into television was motivated by fan demand for more stories centered on legacy characters. Diesel indicated that the decision to enter the TV space was carefully considered to ensure the integrity and international appeal of the franchise were maintained, especially under the oversight of Donna Langley.
