Summary
- Farah Khan hosts 'Lock Upp' with a fresh, unpredictable contestant mix.
- She had minimal involvement in contestant selection for the show.
- Judging familiar faces presents a unique challenge for Khan.
Farah Khan has taken on the role of host for the latest season of 'Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa.' She described the show's primary strength as its unpredictably diverse cast, which she found surprising.
Khan stated that the show's teams did an excellent job assembling a unique group of contestants, including figures like Shivangi Joshi and Ram Kapoor. She noted that the mix ensures varied content beyond typical reality show arguments.
Despite being the face of the program, Khan revealed her limited role in selecting the contestants, as much of the vetting process was completed before she joined. She mentioned occasional suggestions to the team about potential participants.
The biggest hurdle for Khan is maintaining objectivity when judging people she has known for decades, such as Ram Kapoor and Sunita Ahuja. She emphasized that personal relationships do not influence her judgment on the show.
Khan believes that being closer to someone might even lead to stricter judgment, citing Ram Kapoor's experience in the first week. She reiterated that personal connections cannot interfere with her professional duties as host.
