7 Dec, 2025
Summary
- California wildfires destroyed homes of ten special Fallout crew members.
- Production for Fallout Season 2 temporarily halted due to fires.
- LA tax credits aim to bring more production back to the state.
The production of Fallout Season 2 encountered a significant setback earlier this year due to devastating California wildfires. These fires tragically claimed the homes of ten crew members, prompting a temporary shutdown of filming.
This incident served as a wake-up call regarding the exodus of production from California. Co-creator Graham Wagner noted the fires as a pivotal moment, emphasizing the need to support the industry and its workers.
With the implementation of a revamped tax credit program, there is renewed hope that more productions will return to Los Angeles and California, fostering a more stable environment for industry professionals.
