Fallen Angel Guides Troubled Teen to Assassinate Televangelist

The supernatural thriller "Devil's Play," directed by Ben Charles Edwards, is set to captivate audiences with its exploration of faith, destiny, and the duality of good and evil. Inspired by Mark Twain's "The Mysterious Stranger," the film follows the story of Iva, a troubled teenager trapped between an abusive stepfather and a distant, deaf mother.

Iva's life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a mysterious boy claiming to be Lucifer, a fallen angel sent to guide her. As she wrestles with her faith, madness, and destiny, Iva is trained for a chilling mission: to assassinate a powerful American televangelist who is hiding a sinister truth beneath his holy image.

The film features a talented cast, including Mickey Rourke, Dessy Tenekedjieva, Gary Stretch, and Geoff Bell, as well as rising Bulgarian actors Eleonora Ivanova and Dimitar Nikolov in lead roles. "Devil's Play" was produced by Dessy Tenekedjieva of Black Sea Films and Nova Film, with Goldfinch UK as a co-producer.
