The intense survival thriller franchise is set to continue with Fall 2: Deadpoint, moving its harrowing narrative to the breathtaking yet dangerous landscape of Thailand. The sequel will follow Jax Hunter, portrayed by Harriet Slater, as she seeks peace by undertaking a challenging adventure at Mount Kwan alongside Luce, played by Arsema Thomas.
What begins as a daring plank walk high above the ground quickly escalates into a life-threatening situation when an unforeseen accident leaves the pair stranded with no easy escape. Facing extreme fear and exhaustion, Jax and Luce must collaborate to survive the perilous conditions and find their way home.
The first trailer reveals stunning mountain vistas, treacherous climbing paths, and unstable platforms, all designed to evoke a potent fear of heights. The sequel expands the scope from the isolated tower of the first film to encompass broader, more unpredictable natural hazards.
Joining Slater and Thomas are Tom Brittney, with original cast members Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey also slated to appear. The film is directed by Michael and Peter Spierig, with the screenplay penned by the original creators, Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank.
Fall 2: Deadpoint is slated for an exclusive theatrical release on September 2, 2026. Reports also indicate that a third film is already in development, suggesting a broader expansion of the survival thriller series.
