Showbiz Reporter Sports Eyepatch, Jokes About Blofeld Look

Peter Ford, a showbiz reporter, recently appeared on the morning television show Sunrise wearing a large black eyepatch. This led to concern from co-host Matt Shirvington, who thanked Ford for his appearance despite the eye issue. Ford later shared a screenshot of his segment online, humorously referencing Blofeld from the James Bond movies and confirming that his condition did not require surgery.

In a separate recall of past events, reporter Katie Brown shared a throwback video of an incident from early in her career. While reporting on a marijuana raid, wind changed direction and blew smoke from burning cannabis plants directly into her face during a live broadcast. The video showed her bending over and coughing, with behind-the-scenes crew members heard laughing.

Ford, who appeared on The Morning Show as well, reassured viewers that his eyepatch was a temporary situation and he was otherwise fine.
