Juno Films has acquired the North American distribution rights for the experimental biographical film, 'The Extraordinary Miss Flower.' Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the film centers on the remarkable story of Geraldine Flower.
The narrative is deeply connected to a suitcase of love letters exchanged in London during the 1960s and 1970s. These letters inspired acclaimed singer-songwriter Emilíana Torrini to return to the studio.
Torrini stars in the film, which combines specially designed performances with dramatic scenes. Well-known actors and musicians contribute readings from the letters, including Richard Ayoade and Nick Cave.
Juno Films plans a theatrical debut in New York City and Los Angeles in early 2027, followed by a digital release. The film was shot near Bristol, supported by Distiller Music.
