Joining Sy in the ensemble are returning cast members Boyd Holbrook, Natalie Dormer, Waleed Zuaiter, and Ed Speleers. The series is being executive produced by Glen Mazzara, who also serves as the writer and showrunner, along with the Russo brothers and their AGBO production company.
The "Extraction" series is based on the 2020 Netflix film of the same name, which starred Chris Hemsworth and was a global hit for the streaming platform. The new series is expected to build upon the success of the original film and provide a thrilling new chapter in the mercenary saga.
