Actors Vanish in New Psychological Horror

Psychological horror-thriller "Exit to the Guillotine" has officially wrapped production, featuring a cast led by Peyton List and Gustaf Skarsgård. The independent film was written and directed by Zachary Cotler, who produces under his Winter Film Company banner.

The narrative follows Burne Peter, portrayed by List, an off-Broadway actress who joins an international theater troupe. Their rehearsal space is a decommissioned prison situated on the Ukrainian coast. The troupe is working on a new translation of an old Polish play, led by the renowned but unstable director Dado Levytskyy, played by Skarsgård.

As the troupe delves deeper into their rehearsals, a disturbing pattern emerges: actors begin to disappear. This unsettling phenomenon adds a layer of suspense to the already isolated and atmospheric prison setting. The film's ensemble cast also includes Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Lea Myren, and Dylan Douglas.

Zachary Cotler's previous directorial works include "Maya Dardel," "When I'm a Moth," and "The Wall of Mexico." "Exit to the Guillotine" adds to his repertoire of independent features, exploring psychological themes within unique narrative frameworks.
