Longtime communications executive Eva Basler has left Bell-Phillip TV Productions, where she spent over 20 years. As vice president of communications and talent relations for The Bold and the Beautiful, Basler oversaw publicity, marketing, social media, and talent relations for the CBS daytime drama.
Basler's career began with the Academy of Motion Pictures, where she served as a publicist for the Oscars for over a decade. She also played a key role in the inaugural SAG Awards, helping to write their official rules and serving as Awards Show Consultant. Her industry involvement extends to the Television Academy, where she has been an active member since 2000 and currently serves as Governor of Daytime Programming.
In addition to her roles at the Television Academy, Basler has been involved with NATAS, managing Emmy competitions and serving on its Board of Directors since January 2024. This dual board membership with both East and West Coast television academies is a unique distinction in her career.
