The halfway point of 'Euphoria' season 3 delivered a perilous cliffhanger, with Rue, portrayed by Zendaya, facing imminent danger. Episode 5, titled "This Little Piggy," saw Rue's clandestine work with the DEA begin to collapse.
Rue's arrangement to inform on her former boss, Laurie, and current boss, Alamo, became increasingly precarious. After a near exposure in episode 4, episode 5 escalated the threat when Rue attempted to frame Magick. This led Alamo's associates, G and Bishop, to bury Rue in a ditch.
Alamo's menacing arrival on horseback, wielding a mace, concluded the episode on a tense note, sparking intense fan speculation about Rue's potential death. This theory gained traction as Rue is reportedly absent from the subsequent episode, leaving audiences to await resolution in the season's final three installments, concluding with the finale on May 31.
