Hollywood Vet to Lead Eros' AI Creative Unit

Eros Imagination, a new creative technology and experiences business, has been established by Eros Innovation and will be led by Hollywood technologist Remington Scott. Scott, who pioneered digital humans and motion capture for major films, will oversee creative production and international partnerships from London.

The new unit will integrate human artists with visual effects, AI, digital-human tools, real-time production, and games. Beyond serving Eros's internal needs, it will seek external collaborations with studios, streamers, filmmakers, and game developers.

One of its initial projects involves creating an authorized immersive music experience for the celebrated Indian playback singer Mohammed Rafi, aiming to introduce his work to younger audiences through a blend of digital performance and cinematic storytelling.

Eros Imagination will utilize Eros Innovation's Large Cultural Model (LCM) family of multimodal AI, built on a vast catalog of rights-cleared cultural data. This AI will be combined with performance capture and real-time rendering, with humans guiding the creative process. A system named Nexus will assist in selecting AI models and tools for specific projects.

The unit also plans to develop digital identity systems for artists and estates, enabling them to manage and license digital versions of their likenesses and performances, with consent and IP protection as core principles.
