The second season of OUTtv's "The Dressing Room" has announced new guest cast members, including Eric McCormack of "Will & Grace" and Andrea Bang from "Kim's Convenience." Marianas Trench frontman Josh Ramsay will also appear in a guest role. The series, created by Vancouver theatre artists Paul Almeida and Makayla Moore, is set to debut worldwide on August 24th.
Additional cameos will feature Laura Bell Bundy, known for her role in Broadway's "Legally Blonde," alongside performers Katie Findlay, Eduard Witzke, Jacqueline Robbins, and Joyce Robbins. "The Dressing Room" delves into the lives of the cast and crew of a fictional touring musical called "Balloon Boy," exploring their backstage challenges and relationships.
The production, which filmed in Vancouver over ten days, was directed by Nat Boltt, Jennifer Copping, Milo Shandel, and Paul Almeida. The writing team includes Kelli Ogmundson, Josh Epstein, and Almeida, with Almeida and Moore serving as executive producers. Returning cast members from the first season will also be featured.
