Eric André Praises John Cena's Support

Eric André has lauded John Cena as a supportive figure from the early stages of his comedy career. Cena previously appeared on André's late-night show, 'The Eric André Show,' in 2020, a time when André was emerging. André described Cena as "perfect" and emphasized how the wrestler-turned-actor made him feel "welcome and comfortable" on set.

The pair are set to star together in the upcoming Netflix comedy, 'Little Brother,' premiering on June 26, 2026. In this film, John Cena portrays a character in a more dramatic capacity, a shift from his typical comedic roles. Cena noted that André's willingness to cast him in this less conventional role was particularly exciting.

André also highlighted the positive and "nurturing" atmosphere on the set of 'Little Brother.' He contrasted this with the potential for negativity, stating that a single "toxic person or bully" can disrupt an entire production. The success of their film is attributed to the collaborative and supportive nature of the cast, producers, writers, and director.
